MindShift Gym is such a refreshing and fun alternative to the usual fitness or social activities in the DMV. I took a Lyra (aerial hoop) intro class and had the BEST time.

Kim, the instructor, was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive. She tailored the class to everyone’s ability level, made sure we felt safe, and kept the energy light and encouraging. Within one intro class, we learned multiple poses and still got a great workout — without it feeling intimidating or overwhelming.

What really stood out was the community. MindShift Gym feels welcoming, inclusive, and genuinely judgment-free. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to move their body in a way that doesn’t involve traditional gym workouts like lifting heavy or running.

My daughter absolutely loves coming here for the aerial silks class. The instructors are amazing! She is already doing some really impressive stuff after only 4 classes. The whole facility is well run and has a good vibe about it. Highly recommend.

Great gym, great instructors, always a fun time! Not just for kids either; they have classes for adults, including those of us over 35yo. Strongly suggest you try a class if you're even a little bit curious!

Took an adult intro to parkour class with my sister for the first time and had so much fun. We have zero experience with parkour (I literally mean never tried it in our lives). We are also both plus size people and I’m 29 and she’s 39 so we aren’t super young either so I was a little nervous going in. We had the best coach. He was funny, helpful, knowledgeable, encouraging and patient... Overall it was a great experience and would go again! It made me feel more confident about trying new things as an adult.

It went AMAZING. Kids were raving about how much they loved today all the way to the dismissal bus. Coach Sprinkle was really engaging and fun. Thank you again for this opportunity for our kids!

I just wanted to take a moment to extend a big thank you to you and all who came from MindShift gym. What a great event--and your team helped to make the event a roaring success! There were so many smiling faces and pure joyful moments throughout the evening. I had so much fun watching current and former students of mine trying out the mini aerial silks!

I hope we get to partner again in the future, and I hope this was indeed the first of many for this new annual event!
