Aerial Silks
Aerial silks (also known as aerial tissu) is a type of performance in which an artist performs aerial acrobatics while hanging from a specialist fabric.
Intro to Aerial Silks
Start with this class to learn the basic skills that we build upon through level 1 and level 2. Students will be promoted to level 1 after completing one intro class.
Level 1 Aerial Silks
Level 1 students will learn new skills every week. We have a large level 1 curriculum that rotates on a weekly basis.
Level 2 Aerial Silks
Level 2 students will learn new, advanced skills and techniques, most of which are based on level 1 skills. To earn level 2, students must pass a level-up exam.
Supervised Practice/Open Gym (Level 1 or higher)
Students have the opportunity to practice any skills they already know under supervision of a coach. Students may also ask to be taught new skills during these sessions. Instructors may decline to teach new skills depending on safety/skill level.
Family Silks (ages 6+)
Family aerial silks is a more play-based class open to ages 6+. Any students aged 6-8 require parent participation. No intro required; does not promote students to level 1.
Aerial Lyra
Also known as aerial hoop or circeau, the lyra is a circular steel apparatus suspended from the ceiling on which circus artists may perform aerial acrobatics.
Intro to Lyra (ages 9+)
Students will learn the foundations of aerial lyra including conditioning, how to enter and exit the hoop, and basic tricks. This class is a prerequisite for level 1 lyra.
Level 1 Lyra
Expand and improve upon the foundations of lyra to learn more advanced skills and techniques.
